biography

Born in Vancouver BC, I am a proud graduate of the Television Broadcasting program at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in Edmonton, Alberta. While at NAIT, I learned every aspect of performing a professional broadcast. From there, I teamed up with a new company launching video podcasts, and “4th Down - Talking American Football” was born. This was an hour long show discussing the NFL and NCAA Football. The next stage in my journey was back to Vancouver where I interned and worked briefly at Global BC. Desiring more education, I moved on to Ottawa where I completed a degree in Political Science at Carleton University.

Most importantly, I possess an unrelenting passion for sports that grows every single day. I believe that my education, experience, and writing abilities have put me in a position where I feel qualified to put my thoughts to the page and on podcast, in a fashion that is worth visiting for the sports fans of the world. Sports constantly produce moments that cannot be imagined, and memories that cannot be forgotten. It is these moments that captured me, and they are the reason I’ll never stop watching. Football, baseball, golf, hockey, tennis, and basketball will all be discussed here on BIRDIE STREAK.
